What is Caesarstone Quartz?

Caesarstone is the original quartz surface and also the name of a luxurious engineered quartz which is ideal for virtually any interior surface from kitchen countertops, bathroom vanities and stairs, to wall paneling and interior furniture. Traditionally, it is used for high-end residential countertops, but also offers an attractive and versatile finish for commercial and institutional buildings. Through combining essential strength of quartz with numerous polymers and dashes of pigments, the Caesarstone-patented process was created. The result of this process included a durable and stunning range of quartz surfaces varying in colour and finishes.

Caesarstone quartz is more than beautiful. It is also one of nature’s strongest minerals and impervious to stains, scratches, cracks as well as highly heat and cold resistant. Caesarstone surfaces combine form and function, allowing for the most diverse, durable and practical applications. These surfaces retain the cool, tactile qualities of natural stone while offering design freedom with almost unlimited application possibilities.

Caesarstone surfaces require minimal maintenance to keep them looking like new. Just gentle cleaning with soap and water or a mild detergent to ensure ease of care for a long-lasting shine.

As with any surface, Caesarstone can be permanently damaged by exposure to strong exposure and solvents that undermine its physical properties. It is advised not to use products that contain trichloroethane or methylene chloride, such as paint removers or stripper. Avoid any highly aggressive cleaning agents like oven cleaner that have high alkaline/PH levels. Should the surface be accidentally exposed to any of these damaging products, rinse immediately with water to neutralize the effect.

This quartz will tolerate brief exposure to moderately hot temperatures, however prolonged direct contact with, or radiated heat from very hot pots and pans can cause thermal shock, discolouration or damage. Therefore, it is not recommended to place hot pots, pans, electric frying pans or even oven trays on this surface. The usage of hot pads or trivets for hot items are highly advised.

With the above said, whether Caesarstone quartz is being considered for countertops, backsplashes or vanity tops – this quartz allows you to choose a design that combines international trends with your own personal lifestyle!
